Lenovo unveils its first Snapdragon 8+ first-generation ‘Legion Y70’

Lenovo in China officially announced the latest flagship smartphone ‘Legion Y70’.

‘Legion Y70’ features Lenovo’s first Snapdragon 8+ 1st generation chipset. On the front, it is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate.

At the rear, there is a triple camera with a 50MP main camera with OIS and 1/1.55” sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera in the front punch hole. The 5100mAh battery supports 68W fast charging.

The ‘Legion Y70’ comes in three versions: 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB, and is currently taking pre-orders from Lenovo’s website in China. The price starts at 3299 yuan (regarding 627,000 won), but it is offered at a discounted price only to first-come-first-served buyers.

Whether or not the ‘Legion Y70’ will be released globally is yet to be determined.
