Four young Moroccans missing after trying to cross the Mediterranean

Four young Moroccans from the town of Al Araoui have been missing for a fortnight, following trying to cross the Mediterranean aboard a jet ski. According The Lighthouse of Ceutathe four young people tried to cross the Mediterranean from the coasts of Nador towards the coasts of Almeria, during a day marked by difficult weather conditions.

Their families alerted the Spanish and Moroccan security services, as well as collectives and NGOs. The media specifies that the group of activists Emergencia Frontera Norte has issued alerts to try to obtain all possible information leading to the location of the four young people, still without success.

According to available information, the four friends left Morocco following taking a jet ski, without a skipper. Their crossing was made on Sunday August 7th.
