Jizan: Geological survey officials visited the place where boulders fell on the road from Fifa mountain in Jizan region due to heavy rain. There was heavy rain in the area on Thursday. The authority stated that the geological and earth engineering information and the damages caused in the area due to the rains have been recorded. The work is going on to verify the reasons and submit the technical report to the concerned departments. Solutions and technical recommendations will be submitted to prevent the dangers of mountain falls. First, the rocks in the landslide-prone area are removed or secured with anchor bolts. The authority also stated that they will try to keep the walls in the area by spraying concrete.
