(CNN) — Multiple victims were shot in the Truxton Circle area of Washington, according to the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.
“The MPD is currently responding to a confirmed shooting in the unit block of O Street, NW, which occurred at approximately 12:52 p.m. It preliminarily appears that there are multiple victims who were shot,” MPD spokeswoman Alaina Gertz said. to CNN.
MPD says public information officers are responding as well and will set up a waiting area for media upon arrival.
