Between wars, natural disasters and a devastating pandemic, Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius tried to keep his cool. Nearly 2,000 years ago, Marcus Aurelius (April 26, AD 121 – March 17, 180) wrote his “Introspections.” They show how to find comfort and strength even in difficult times – think clearly, meet the natural needs of body, soul and spirit and work for the community. Today, the works of Aurel are considered classics of Stoic philosophy and are nevertheless, especially in Corona times, red hot.
