Sony earlier announced the acquisition of Savage Game Studios, a mobile game development studio with offices in Helsinki, Finland and Berlin, Germany, which may represent a further strengthening of the mobile game market in the future.
At present, Savage Game Studios has not announced the content of its production game, but according to Sony, the game studio is making a new AAA-level mobile real-time service action game.
In the future, Savage Game Studios will be merged into the mobile game division of PlayStation Studios, which may mean that Sony will not only build mobile games with existing PlayStation game assets, but also strengthen the development of the mobile game market through new works in the future.
However, neither Sony nor Savage Game Studios disclosed the details of the acquisition, but confirmed that Savage Game Studios will maintain an independent operation in the future, still managed by co-founders Michail Katkoff, Nadjim Adjir and Michael McManus.
