Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented a video clip of an Iraqi Shiite cleric kissing and shaking hands with women.
The video showed the Iraqi Shiite Ali Al-Sharifi, wearing his religious garb, and standing in a place where a number of women are present.
The video showed that a woman with five faces Ali Al-Sharifi and shook hands with him, and another shook hands with him and kissed him on the cheeks and exchanged kisses, saying, “You are my life.”
The video sparked a state of controversy, and Sharifi was subjected to sharp criticism, amid demands to remove his turban and strip him of his religious dress.
