No one drives too close voluntarily here anymore…
South of the city of Melbourne in the sunny US state of Florida, an SUV driver went on an alligator tour. This is apparently an unusual sight even for the motherland of alligators. The animal, believed to be dead, was tied to the rear of the vehicle.
Karen Kress who, according to “ New York Post‘ took the amazing photo was the driver behind it.
How did this unusual transport come about? One explanation could be that the animal was brought home like this. It’s alligator hunting season in Florida right now. From August 15 to November 1, the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will issue 7,000 licenses to hunt Florida’s approximately 1.3 million alligators.
