Atletico Madrid snatched a fatal victory against Porto, 2-1, in the confrontation that brought them together, on Wednesday evening, in the Champions League.
The match between Atlético Madrid and Porto was held at the Civitas Metropolitano in the first round of Group B of the Champions League.
Atlético opened the scoring in the 90 + 1 minute through Mario Hermoso, before Porto equalized in the 90 + 6 minute, then Rokhi Blancos snatched the victory in the 101st minute through Griezmann.
And in the 82nd minute, Porto player Mahdi Tarmi was sent off after receiving a second warning in the match.
Club Brugge defeats Bayer Leverkusen with a clean goal
In the same group, Club Brugge beat Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 in the match that brought them together at the Jan Bridal stadium.
The goalless draw continued to dominate the match until Club Brugge opened the scoring in the 42nd minute through Abacar Sylla.
Thus, Atletico Madrid and Club Brugge share the top spot in Group B of the Champions League, with 3 points each, while Porto and Bayer Leverkusen remain without points.
