A 19-year-old young man was stabbed late Wednesday followingnoon in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, in Montreal.
According to Montreal police, an altercation between the attacker and his victim broke out around 5 p.m. near a residence on Dandurand Street, before moving inside.
The dispute escalated and the young man was stabbed by a suspect, who then fled, summarized the agency Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service.
The life of the victim is not threatened, it was specified.
An investigation has been opened to try to clarify the circumstances surrounding this attack.
