Since 2005, Sophie Gardaz has been the guardian of the Little Theater of Lausanne, a magical setting where shows created for a demanding audience are born: children. The Swiss Performing Arts Awards, unveiled this Thursday (read box), hail her role as a conduit of emotions, stories and enchantments. She smiles: “I was surprised, because we are used to not appearing on radar.” And confides, with this modesty that inhabits him: “I take this reward for myself and for everything that is done here. It is to the artists that I owe the shows created at the Petit Théâtre.
