US data showed that the inflation rate in the United States slowed in the month of August, but the result was higher than analysts’ expectations. Inflation in the United States reached 8.3% last August, down from 8.5% last July, according to a statement issued by the US Department of Labor.
Last month’s result was higher than expected, as inflation was expected to reach 8.2%, especially with the decline in energy prices in the United States.
