Will there be a time change in Mexico?

In June of this year, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador mentioned that the issue will be analyzed because he considers that “there is social unrest.” He promised to review “thoroughly” the possible annulment of him.

Initiatives have also been presented in the Chamber of Deputies to abolish summer time. However, no consensus has been reached so far.

When does winter time start?

Daylight saving time begins on Monday, October 31, 2022 and ends on April 1, 2023, if the elimination of daylight saving time is not approved.

Winter time 2022: Is it behind or ahead?

On the night of October 30, the clocks will have to be set back one hour.

Does it change across the country?

Not all entities in the country make the change. All municipalities in the border area with the United States are exempt, as well as Quintana Roo and Sonora.
