Reduction in water supply will affect seven municipalities in CDMX

The Mexico City Water System announced that for this Wednesday morning there will be a reduction in the water supply of regarding 3,150 liters per second for three hours that will affect seven mayors.

Through a statement, the agency explained that the reduction will be due to maintenance work by the Federal electricity commission (CFE) on the Comalco Substation of Lerma system.

The affectation will be from 6:00 a.m. this Wednesday, September 14, at:

  1. Alvaro Obregon
  2. Azcapotzalco
  3. Benito Juarez
  4. Miguel Hidalgo
  5. Cuauhtemoc
  6. Iztacalco
  7. Iztapalapa

Sacmex announced that it will provide support to these municipalities with 500 drinking water tankers with a capacity of 10,000 liters of water each, a service that will be free.
