Al-Marsad newspaper: The Emirate of Makkah region published a set of aerial photos of 4 neighborhoods in Jeddah following removing the slums.
The pictures showed the neighborhoods of Al Rawabi, Al Jamea, Al Balad and Madain Al Fahd, following removing the random buildings during the last period.
The pictures taken by the photographer, Fahd Al-Tufafani, showed vast areas of land devoid of buildings, following the removal operations were carried out and the rubble was removed.
And the spokesperson of the Jeddah Municipality, Muhammad Al-Baqami, had announced earlier that the Slum Removal Committee aims to remove 32 slums in Jeddah.
He explained, during an intervention on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, that so far 29 random neighborhoods have been removed, leaving only 3 neighborhoods.
