Munich (dpa) – “It was always fun for me. The challenges bring energy and emotions with them – but all I can do is be grateful for the opportunity to coach here,” said Jackson before the milestone in Munich’s own stadium against Adler Mannheim.
The 66-year-old American didn’t want to get melancholic beforehand. “I am very proud to have been here for so long. But I’m not looking too far ahead. The next game is always the most important thing for me,” emphasized the multiple champion coach Jackson, who took over his first head coaching position in the DEL in 2005/06 with the DEG Metro Stars.
