In Geneva, a sumptuous residence on the Cologny ramp, a stone’s throw from the lake, without vis-à-vis, surrounded by land of around 10,000 m², changed hands for 40 million francs. The seller is the ex-wife of Torbjörn Törnqvist, boss of the oil trading group Gunvor, who acquired it when the couple settled in the canton in 2004. The information comes from the Official Notice Sheet, which also indicates that two weeks earlier, Stéphane Degenne, head of crude oil trading within the group, also sold his house in Vandoeuvres for 7.4 million francs.
