Al-Marsad newspaper: The pioneers of social networking sites circulated a video clip documenting King Charles III’s ignoring of a dark-skinned man while shaking hands with a number of fans.
The video showed King Charles III, who inherited the British throne following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, shaking hands with a number of fans.
The video showed King Charles III stepping over a dark-skinned man and not shaking his hand. While the man extended his hand to the king following he crossed him, and the king only touched the man’s arm.
The clip sparked a state of controversy, and King Charles III was criticized, amid questions regarding whether this was racism from the king towards the man, or if he really did not see him.
