On the morning of September 23, in the self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine, referendums on the question of joining Russia began, the voting would continue until September 27.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, in a statement, that referendums in the “Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics” and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions fully comply with international law.
