The Cairo Drama Festival surprised us with all this credibility in the choices and awards that went only to those who deserve it, which reflects the consensus between the arbitrators, the festival management, critics and the public.. Everyone who won an award carried it well, and we are not surprised to be surprised with this amount of credibility at a time when it has become Festivals are just social occasions in which art people meet and show off their beauty and fashion, while prizes are distributed to “lovers” and to please so-and-so (and so-and-so and so-and-so).
This festival is distinguished with everything in it, and it became more distinguished by honoring artists who “left an unforgettable mark in the history of Arab drama” for a number of actors of second roles. mastery in it when any artistic and dramatic work is completed; And it ended with honoring the stars in the drama, headed by the Almighty Salah Al-Saadani, who is longed for by the audience, and has all the love and appreciation for him. And the creative author Muhammad Jalal Abdul Qawi, the great director Jamal Abdul Hamid, and the late producer and scriptwriter Mamdouh Al-Leithi, and a special tribute to two distinguished series that came out of the competition cycle “The Choice” and “The Returnees.”
