About ten years ago, the end of banking secrecy prompted many players in the Geneva financial center to consider diversifying into asset management. Since then, several large banks have successfully developed this activity, while specialized shops have appeared in this niche. However, for sixty years Geneva has welcomed a discreet asset management giant, the American Capital Group, which came to the shores of Lake Geneva to expand its activities outside the United States. A global heavyweight that only practices active management and with a rather particular operation.
