The soccer players of FC Bayern Munich made it through to the group stage of the Champions League. The German runners-up defeated Real Sociedad San Sebastian 3-1 (3-1) in their own stadium, Bayern had already won the first leg 1-0.
Linda Dallmann (18th/23rd) and Lea Schüller (43rd) met in front of 1652 spectators, including Bayern President Herbert Hainer. Synne Jensen (45th) was successful for San Sebastian, who finished second behind FC Barcelona last season. ÖFB team player Sarah Zadrazil played through at Bayern.
The draw for the group stage will take place on Monday (1 p.m.) and German champions VfL Wolfsburg will also be in the pot. Eintracht Frankfurt had failed in qualifying at Ajax Amsterdam.
