Leon, Guanajuato.- A dead man and an injured woman was the balance of an armed attack in a diner in the Colonia San Felipe de Jesusin León.
Around 9:30 p.m. this Saturday, merchants and residents of Sión Avenue and the Vicente Valtierra Boulevardthey denounced shots inside the food sales business.
According to first versions, two men in a black car followed the victim, who came to the business to order food. Just then, one of them approached and shot him several times before escaping together with his accomplice.
After the attack, police and paramedics arrived to offer their support, although they only confirmed the death of the man, whose identity has not been confirmed, and transferred a woman identified as Yadira, 41, who suffered an arm injury, to the hospital.
The place was cordoned off by authorities while the area is under the protection of elements of the National Guard and the Mexican Army as agents of the State Attorney’s Office carry out the first investigations.
Circulation on Sión Avenue is closed, so far despite the operations there are no detainees.
