Munnar ∙ A tiger that killed cows in Munnar was caught in a trap. Trapped in a cage set up by Naimakkad. In recent days, ten cattle have died in the attack of the tiger. A cow left to graze was attacked in Cuddalar East Division today at 12 noon.
Locals had blocked the Munnar-Udumalpetta inter-state highway last day to protest once morest the frequent attacks by wild animals. The Munnar-Udumalpet interstate highway was blocked for 3 hours with the carcass of a cow. Around 100 cattle have been killed by tigers in the area over the past few months.
