Valeriy Tarasenko had a relationship with Inna Yashchyshyn, a Russian-speaking Ukrainian-born who managed to slip inside Mar-a-Lago in May 2021.
The 33-year-old woman had posed as an heiress to the wealthy Rothschild family and showed up at the residence with a Rolex on her wrist while driving a big Mercedes.
She claimed to have been invited by a friend of her ex-boyfriend’s daughter who was staying at a residence nearby and claimed to have contacts in major real estate development projects.
Inna Yashchyshyn had attended various events, played golf and had her picture taken with Donald Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham and other members of the Trump family.
Safety questioned
This intrusion had, following the fact, raised many security questions at Mar-a-Lago, especially since information revealed links between Inna Yaschyshyn and relatives of Vladimir Putin.
In a sworn statement filed last February in Miami-Dade County Court, Valeriy Tarasenko described the woman as an active member of an international criminal organization.
He maintains that she would have bought false identities that she would have used on different occasions.
According to Valeriy Tarasenko in the statement, Inna Yaschyshyn worked for some of Russia’s wealthiest and most brutal oligarchs who are close to Vladimir Putin, claims the woman denies.
