the singer lifts the veil on her “worst cooked”!

Lara Fabian reveals himself as never before in his autobiographical book “All”, published by Libre Expression. Without filter, the singer notably reviews the painful moments of her life. If she talks about her health problems (including her impressive vertebral fracture in 2010 and her morphine injections), the interpreter of “I love you” also talks about her heartache. The opportunity for her to discuss her romance with… a married man! It was in 1988, during his participation in Eurovision, in Dublin. Lara had then fallen under the spell of a handsome Irishman named Roy.

According to the clues given by the artist, it would be Roy Taylor, singer and bassist of the group Jump The Gun, who had represented Ireland, the year when Lara had defended the colors of Luxembourg and won a nice fourth place . Then aged 18, the singer thought she had found “the man of her life”. Their love story will continue after the competition. Lara will regularly go back and forth between Brussels and Dublin to see her darling twelve years her senior. Problem: this man was already married, father of a little boy and “another to be born”!

After several months of liaison, Roy will decide to confess everything to Lara and to put an end to their relationship, in spite of “feelings which seemed really sincere”. On Valentine’s Day, he will drive her to Dublin airport and get her on the first plane to Brussels. A day that Lara Fabian still remembers. So affected by this break, she would have even gone so far as to get drunk to ease the pain. “Ryanair staff witnessed the worst Bailey’s binge ever taken by an 18-year-old passenger in flight,” she reveals in her book.
