The tech-driven Egyptian pharma marketplace raised $1.5m in a pre-seed round led by Disruptech Ventures in addition to other investors. Founded in 2021, i’Supply aims to connect small and medium sized pharmacies with wholesalers and pharmaceutical companies, offering seamless connections to the industry’s supply chain.

With an initial launch in late 2021, i’SUPPLY aims to transform the wholesale distribution of medicines in the MENA region and Africa by focusing on supporting and empowering medium and small-sized wholesalers and pharmacies. The company is building a reliable, integrated network that enhances and augments traditional platforms with disruptive sales, distribution and supply solutions.

They are driven by data that optimizes procurement processes and provides a one-stop-shop solution that helps industry stakeholders predict and quickly overcome supply chain disruptions.

The new funding will allow i’Supply to expand across Egypt and bring an additional 60,000 pharmacies into its market over the next 12 months. The startup also plans to expand to other countries in the MENA region and across Africa in the near future.
