Matthew Perry’s memoir Friends, Lovers and The Big Terrible Thing will be released on November 1st. He explained to “People” magazine why he only now decided to tell his life full of ups and downs. “I wanted to share it when I was safe from not getting back on the dark side of it all. I had to wait until I’m pretty sure I’m sober – and off the alcoholism and addiction – and then write it all down.” Only then would his story help other people, the 53-year-old is sure.
