COAHUAYANA, Mich., November 21, 2022.- With the objective of detecting the needs to improve the Coahuayana Hospital to a first level of services, a multidisciplinary team from the IMSS Bienestar representation in Michoacán went to the municipality, where they met with members of the council headed by the mayor Gildardo Ruiz Velázquez, to whom the task to be carried out in the Coahuayanense hospital was presented.
At the meeting it was said that the IMSS Well-being team made up of doctors, engineers, nurses, health promoters and administrative personnel are entrusted with laying the foundations to standardize the services of the Integral Hospital of Coahuayana as a first level priority, and that To achieve this, they will review what is needed in infrastructure, equipment, inputs, personnel, and specialized services.
Finally, it was reported that the health centers and health houses throughout the municipality of Coahuayana will also be reviewed with the aim of also improving the services provided there to a second level.
