France wins…and loses its player in the World Cup

Lucas Hernandez, the French national team player, will not be able to complete the 2022 World Cup competitions, following suffering a severe injury in the first match.

France’s national team player, Lucas Hernandez, will not be able to complete the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The German Bayern Munich defender suffered a severe knee injury in the first minutes of the match, in which the French national team beat Australia, 4-1, to leave the stadium.

And the coach of the “Roosters” Didier Deschamps announced at the beginning following the match, in statements to the French station “TF1” that Hernandez’s injury was strong and he needed examinations, before the French newspaper “L’Equipe” confirmed his absence from the upcoming matches.

Later, the French Football Federation officially announced that Hernandez would not be able to complete the World Cup.
