Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Umm Rakan told a story that 50 lizards cooked when she was a child.
She said during an interview with Al-Resala TV: “We cooked lamb at the age of 11. My father brought 50 lamb, and my mother was traveling with her mother. My father asked us to cook lamb for the guests, and indeed, I cooked lamb with the help of my sister.”
She indicated that she and her sister had served lamb to the guests, and it was well cooked.
And she continued: “We put the slippers on and put them on, and when we went to school the next day, I sold the two for 5 riyals.”
Another citizen said: “We were happy to go to the mainland during the holidays, and we hunted scorpions, jerboas, and lizards,” noting that she cooked lizards but did not eat them, pointing out that it is said that lizards treat kidney diseases.
