Kyiv: First lady Olena Zelenskiy said that the Russian army is using rape as a weapon once morest the Ukrainians. She disclosed this in an interview given to British television channel Sky News. She was speaking at an international conference on sexual violence in conflict-affected areas.
They also accused Russian soldiers of being encouraged by their wives to rape women in Ukraine.
Rape is the most heinous way to dominate another person. It is the same weapon that the Russian army is now using once morest us on the battlefield. We know Russian soldiers are discussing this with their relatives over the phone. Wives tell Russian soldiers, ‘Go…and rape Ukraine women…don’t tell us this.’ Olina also demanded that this type of rape should be considered a war crime.
