Requested for transporting drugs in Puerto Ordaz

A 55-year-old man was required for allegedly carrying narcotic substances in Ciudad Guayana.

Agents attached to the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), arrested the man at the Manuel Carlos Piar International Airport, located in the Unare parish of Puerto Ordaz, following verifying his identity in the Police Investigation and Information System (Siipol).

The system revealed that the fiftieth-year-old was requested by the First Court of Control, for the crime of drugs.

Such procedure was notified to the courts, and the subject is detained at the Interpol headquarters.

No further details were known regarding the citizen’s background.
