After eating spicy food and coughing, the young woman broke four of her ribs. Huang, a woman in Shanghai, had a different experience. While eating, Huang coughed. Suddenly I heard something cracking from inside but I didn’t care. After a day or two, I felt pain even while breathing and saw the doctor.
In the scanning report, it was found that the ribs were broken. Huang has a relatively low body weight. The doctor told Huang that the fracture was due to the lack of skin to support the ribs. “Your ribs are clearly visible under your skin. There is no muscle to support the bone, so when you cough, your ribs are prone to fracture,” explained the doctor.
