Correa seems to lead Giants’ Priority List after failing to get Judge’s services. Bogaerts could be close to signing with the Red Sox. For their part, the Cubs have been linked with every shortstop still on the market, so if Correa and Bogaerts sign with those teams, the North Chicago squad could ramp up their efforts to add Swanson.
According to Ken Rosenthal of the portal The Athleticthe Cubs view Swanson “as possibly their most realistic target” at shortstop.
MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand added: “I wouldn’t be surprised if [los Cachorros] they move quickly if the other shortstops get off the board.”
