In recent days, heavy snowfalls have affected the city of Moscow and its surroundings in Russia. According to the municipal services, it would have fallen in the last 24 hours the equivalent of more than 60% of the average monthly snowfall for Moscow. Such snowfalls created impressive snowdrifts reaching nearly 30 centimeters high. The last time the city of Moscow was covered in such a blanket of snow was in 1993.
