Karachi: The first cricket test between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a draw.

Score: Pakistan 1st innings 438, 2nd innings 311 for 8 declared. New Zealand declared 612 for nine in the first innings and 61 for one in the second innings.

Tom Latham (35) and Devon Conway (18) ended the match at the crease. New Zealand had a target of 138 runs in front of them. Opener Imam-ul-Haq became the top scorer for Pakistan with 96 runs. Wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed (53) and Saud Shakeel (55 not out off 108 balls) scored half-centuries. Leg-spinner Ish Sodhi shone with six wickets
