Jeddah: The Jeddah Education Department has declared a holiday for schools in Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais today (Sunday) due to the possibility of heavy rain.
Jeddah Education Department spokesman Hamood Al-Sukhairan said that classes will be held for students through the madrasa platform. The National Meteorological Center said there is a possibility of mountain floods due to heavy rains in Makkah, Albaha, Al Qasim, Madinah, Eastern Province, Northern Frontier Province, Al Jouf, Hail, Tabuk Provinces and some parts of Riyadh Province until Wednesday.
Asir, Jizan, Najran, Riyadh and Eastern provinces are also likely to experience rain till Wednesday. Tabuk, Al-Jawf and Northern Frontier Provinces are also likely to experience snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
