Deadlock among Republicans continues: no Speaker of the House of Representatives even after the sixth round

The US House of Representatives has still not been able to elect a new president. Republican party chairman Kevin McCarthy failed to get the required 218 votes for the sixth time in a short time last night. The session was then adjourned until two a.m. Belgian time, but at that renewed meeting the House voted for a new adjournment until Thursday followingnoon local time, as a result of which a new chairman has still not been elected. That reports news channel CNN.
