We have the honor to inform you that the letter of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation dated 01/01/2023 regarding the approval of the competent authority to increase some allowances to raise production and improve performance in light of the current economic challenges and to preserve the job and social stability of workers in the petroleum sector was received as follows: –
Increasing the category of transportation allowance by 20%, to a minimum of 1,000 pounds per month, with the start of canceling the system of transporting workers through the company’s means of transportation.
Increasing the category of meal allowance in case of continuation following the official working hours of your esteemed company that applies this system, to become 75 pounds per meal, with a maximum of 15 days per month, and in all cases, with a maximum of 1250 pounds per month per meal.
Increasing the desert allowance, the shift allowance, and the local travel allowance by 100%.
