The rupture of an EPM gas pipe caused a strong fire in the west of Medellín causing panic among its inhabitantsaccording to social networks.
The event occurred on 64th street with race 109 B sector of Robledo La Aurora when – as a result of the rupture of the fuel pipe – intense flames were generated in the middle of a public thoroughfare.
Two Medellín fire engines moved to the site to attend to the fire. There the rescuers had to fight with the flames that reached several meters in height.
