The Meteorological Authority announced the expected weather details from Friday, January 20 to Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Cold weather prevails in the early morning, moderately hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, warm in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, cold at night in the north of the country until Greater Cairo, very cold in the south, reaching frost on crops in central Sinai.
Snow forms at the top of Mount Moses and St. Catherine.

Morning fog: On some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, North Upper Egypt and Central Sinai, it may be dense at times on Lower Egypt, northwestern coasts and canal cities.
Saturday 21st January
Morning fog: On some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, North Upper Egypt and Central Sinai, it may be dense at times on Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and the canal cities.
Chances of light rain, with an incidence of approximately 20%, in areas of the far west, at intermittent intervals.
