I almost agree. It’s just that Rashford didn’t start playing yesterday, but for almost 8 years in front of everyone. Okay, in the first part of the season, Ronaldo interfered with him. Okay, last season Ronaldo interfered with him, but let’s take a couple of seasons before Ronaldo, i.e. covid and next. Was Rashford good? Yes, good. Well, there, he scored well, 25 goals a season. He even played well. But was it a game of the same level as now? No. He was just good then, but now he’s the one you’ve been waiting to see since the day Van Gaal released him in LE.
I think Ronaldo leaving alone is not enough. It’s just that the departure coincided with something else, I don’t know, or with an understanding of Ten Haag’s ideas or with a trip to the World Cup.
