Audrey Werro started her indoor season this Sunday in Macolin as part of the meeting organized by Bienne Athletics. Aligned on 600m, the Belfagienne quite simply exploded the best Swiss performance of all time on this distance among women. She lowered the mark set by Selina Rutz-Büchel in 2019 by more than 90 hundredths to set the new record at a historic time of 1:26.14. By way of comparison, she had already won last year at the same meeting in 1:27.58. This is a dream warm-up for the schoolgirl before her stopovers in France for the international meeting in Eure on February 4, then in Metz the following weekend.
