The king rocks the king: LUDWIG MEETS MICHAEL JACKSON – April 15, 2023 in the Prinzregententheater in Munich

The premiere in 2019 in the sold-out Füssen Festival Hall delighted the audience, caused standing ovations and thunderous cheers. “Concentrated energy”, “Ludwig’s meeting with Michael Jackson unleashes waves of enthusiasm in the audience”, “Magical moments at the king’s meeting”, “A musical concert of the extra class”… so the press reported. And there was even an award from the largest German musical fan portal “Musical1”!

For the third edition of the impressive Crossover-Show „Ludwig meets Michael Jackson“ Holt Dr. Konstantinos Kalogeropoulos am 15. April 2023 once more the celebrated one “Ludwig” actor Matthias Stockinger and the Michael Jackson tribute artist Patrick Granado on the stage of Prinzregententheater in Munich. The two join nearly 20 contributorsu. a. Live-Band, Musicalstar Zodwa Selelethe famous actress Maria Messner as Empress Elisabeth and Pop diva Kirstin Hesse. Plus two acrobatswho fly through the air during the song “They don’t care regarding us”, as well as a captivating dance ensemble, which makes the stage tremble to “Smooth Criminal”. All artists agree: You have to be there live! Especially when Michael Jackson walks through the palace wall and Ludwig sings his parade song “Kalte Sterne” and Sisi sings her aria “Rosen ohne Dornen” with the rock band. As a highlight, both kings finally meet in a friendly duet.

Two extraordinary personalities, united in a fascinating show
Born August 29, 1958 in Indiana, earned Michael Jackson World fame as the lead singer of the “Jackson Five” at the age of seven. The child prodigy became one of the greatest entertainers of all time, with over 350 million records sold, unprecedented stage shows and groundbreaking choreographies. Michael Jackson wrote music history with his albums “Thriller”, “Bad” and “History”.
