The World Malayali Council has formed the Ireland Province Women’s Forum

Dublin – The World Malayali Council has formed a Women’s Forum in Ireland on the recommendation of the Global Women’s Forum.

With emphasis on women’s empowerment, Vanitaforum has pledged to stand up and not alone, but to advance unitedly and work for the betterment of the society they represent. The Council also aims to become a driving force in the fields of arts, literature, science and humanitarian services. The forum will also take the initiative to do as much charity work as possible at home and in the respective countries.

The office bearers are Jeeja Joy Varghese (Chairperson), Judy Binu (President), Leena Jayan (Secretary), Sini Shaibu Kattikat (Treasurer), Fiji Savio, Anagha Mandattara (Cork) (Vice Chairpersons), Drishya Babu Jayalakshmi (Cork), Navami Sanulal ( Vice Presidents), Anjali Elias (Cork) and Bindu Binoi (Joint Secretaries), and a 21-member Executive Committee comprising Jeeja Joy Varghese and Raji Dominic (Europe Region) as Global Representatives.

Congratulating the new office-bearers, Global Vice Chairperson Mercy Tadtel (Germany) and Global Women’s Forum President Dr. Lalitha Mathew also spoke.
