6 people were electrocuted while removing the Christmas tree

Electric shock in Lam Dong leaves one dead, five injured

On February 4, the police of Da Teh district, Lam Dong province examined the scene to investigate the cause of an electric shock in My Duc commune that killed one person.

Accordingly, at noon of the same day, while removing the Christmas tree at a chapel in My Duc commune, the pine tree fell, entangled in the medium voltage power line, causing six people to be electrocuted.

Due to the strong discharge current, all six people were shocked, in which Mr. PBL (44 years old) died following being taken to Da Teh District Medical Center for emergency.

Exchange with PLOMr. Tong Giang Nam, Chairman of Da Teh District People’s Committee, said that as soon as he received the case, he directed the District Health Center to focus on treating and caring for the victims.

Currently, the health of five people is stable, not life-threatening.
