Al-Marsad Newspaper: The retired Egyptian artist, Hala Shiha, sparked controversy after she appeared without a veil in a video clip of her two daughters and members of her family, amid speculation of her divorce from her husband, the preacher Moez Masoud.

Shiha posted, on her Instagram account, a video clip that includes footage of her daughter and niece playing with slime, and scenes that bring them together with her mother and father.

Shiha wrote on the post: “I believe in the power of family, the power of love, the power of purity and joy.”

She added: “I believe that tomorrow is a wonderful place, and that when we go through difficult times, sad times, and traumatic events, guilt and anger will only lead us to a better place, and we become wiser, stronger, less angry, and more forgiving.
