In 2016, following graduating from high school, Nicklas Spelmeyer cleaned the kitchen at McDonald’s in the evenings, a year later he worked on the assembly line at Mercedes. Today, the 24-year-old is one of 900 people in Germany who achieve sales of more than one million euros with the online platform Amazon. “I come to Austria regularly for holidays in the mountains,” says Spelmeyer. In an interview, the Berliner talks regarding his career and criticism of Amazon.
