Bakuriani – Avital Carroll sensationally won the bronze medal on the mogul slope for Austria at the snowboard and ski freestyle world championships in Bakuriani (Georgia) on Saturday. The naturalized US-American, who had never made it onto the podium in the World Cup before, had to admit defeat with 80.19 points only to French Perrine Laffont (87.40) and US-American Jaelin Kauf (83.56). .
